Honouring God When Life Changes

A seminar for 16-21-year-olds

Got questions about the next stage of life as a Christian?
Maybe you’re about to go off to uni, or you’re near the end of your course and will soon be “adulting” for the first time. Maybe you’ve just learned to drive and have FINALLY got your freedom. Or maybe you’re wondering whether church will still be as good when all of your friends move away in September. Maybe this is true for someone else in your youth group, family, or church. In all of these changes, how do you live how God wants you to?
HBC are hosting a free seminar on 13th July @ 7:30pm for anyone aged 16-21 who wants to know more about being a Christian when life changes and suddenly you have to pay rent and do laundry and stuff. It’s completely free of charge, and there is no booking required. We’ll be hearing from Rosie O’Donnell from the UCCF (the organisaton behind CUs) about being a Christian at uni, as well as Lee Chilvers, a past student who is also going to share his experience about honouring God when at home.
“How do I pick a new church?” “What’s the CU?” “What about my old friends?” “What does God want me to do with my life?”
If you’ve got questions, you’re not alone.
